Biographical Details

Jill’s area of practice is in employment law, representing clients in discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower cases – from investigation, mediation through pre-trial litigation, trial and appeal. She also represents clients in negotiating severance packages and advises non-profit organizations in employment risk management, including employment manual and contract drafting.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Silverstein served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, specializing in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. She also clerked for the Honorable Robert D. Kingsland, United States Magistrate for the Eastern District of Missouri.

In addition to the practice of law, Ms. Silverstein has years of experience in operating a small business and in managing multimillion-dollar projects for theme parks, museums and visitor attractions. She brings this experience into all areas of her practice.

Ms. Silverstein has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1984, and practices in state and federal courts.
